Re-Shell Co., Ltd. places “manufacturing in harmony with nature” at the core of its corporate philosophy. We provide environmentally friendly cleaning solutions that utilize renewable natural materials such as marine resources and seashells.
Our products are certified under MARPOL Annex II by the International Maritime Organization (IMO), internationally demonstrating their high level of safety and environmental compatibility, with discharge into the ocean permitted.
Our product lineup ranges from industrial applications to household use.
In particular, we have built a proven track record in cleaning heavy oil and machine oil from ship tanks, factory equipment, kitchen floors, and public baths. After use, the wastewater is highly biodegradable and designed to leave no burden on the natural environment. Furthermore, we carefully select sustainable raw materials, including the use of BASF’s bio-based ingredient (APG®) as a surfactant.
In addition to product safety, we place the highest priority on fulfilling our corporate social responsibility through packaging that can be collected and recycled, as well as by actively working to build sustainable logistics and supply chain systems.
Beyond Japan, we are accelerating our global outreach through international business matching with organizations such as JETRO, connecting with customers and partners worldwide. We are also strengthening direct-to-consumer (D2C) sales of our products, establishing a system to deliver safe and environmentally conscious cleaning solutions directly to more people.
