SUSTAINABILITY

Sustainable products that return to nature.
Our promise to you

Re-Shell Co., Ltd. is committed not only to product development but also to business activities driven by the determination to protect the environment itself. At the core of this approach is our concept of "Nature-Positive Management." This represents a new way of doing business, contributing to the conservation and restoration of natural capital while achieving both corporate growth and the creation of social value.

Our cleaning products are made with 100% naturally derived ingredients and are designed to be biodegradable and environmentally friendly. In addition, some products have obtained certification from the International Maritime Organization (IMO) under MARPOL Annex II Convention for tank cleaning additives, demonstrating environmental performance that meets global standards.

Cleaning is not just about "removing dirt", it is about "not polluting the future."

To bring this vision to life, Re-Shell Co., Ltd. continues to pursue initiatives throughout the entire product lifecycle, aiming for a circular society and one that coexists harmoniously with nature.

Nature-Positive Declaration

Re-Shell Co., Ltd. considers the conservation of natural capital, including the marine environment, to be a vital priority. Through our business activities, we aim to realize a nature-positive future and, further, to build a society that coexists with nature. To this end, we hereby declare our commitment to the following initiatives.

1. We recognize that climate change and the circular economy are strongly interconnected with nature, and we will address them comprehensively. In line with the marine environmental protection standards of the International Maritime Organization (IMO), we aim to create corporate value based on natural capital.

2. We will work to conserve natural capital through the following measures.
We will promote the development and sale of eco-friendly shell-based products, providing consumers with environmentally friendly choices.
We will build a supply chain that minimizes environmental impact from raw material procurement to product delivery.
We will promote the collection and recycling of used shell products to realize circular resource use.

3. In Japan, under the principle that "healthy forests nurture healthy oceans," we will engage in forest regeneration to restore nutrients to forests, enhance ocean productivity through rivers, and help recover sound ecosystems and rich natural resources. Through these efforts, we will contribute to the conservation of 30% of terrestrial areas and more than 30% of marine areas.

4. We will quantitatively assess natural capital and reflect it in our management decisions.
We will work together with stakeholders such as local communities, NGOs, and government agencies to pursue a sustainable society.
We will provide environmental education to employees and promote company-wide awareness.

Through these initiatives, we will achieve the “30 by 30” target, halting and reversing biodiversity loss by 2030 and conserving more than 30% of terrestrial and marine areas as healthy ecosystems.

In doing so, we will contribute to the realization of a Nature-Positive Economy.
